After the demise of R A Stracey in 1975 and his elder brother P D Stracey, the founder’s wife,  then the Treasurer, with the permission of the Late President Mr. Madhava Rao approached Wg. Cdr. B M Umber Koman, to consider taking over the school and heading the management.  Wg.Cdr. Umber Koman, IAF and an educationis and Secretary and later President, RB
BPAM Charity, graciously accepted the proposal and later in1978 founded the STRACEY MEMORIAL EDUCATION SOCIETY which is registered under the Karnataka Societies 1960. 

All the persons to be remembered for their noted services :

The school, first intended as a feeder school to the many ICSE schools in the locality had later requested for recognition for the SSLC pattern of education from the Karnataka Government in 1977 and sent  the first batches for the VII & X Std’s examinations in 1972 and 1978 respectively  and in last 50 years  continued to offer education of the high quality with excellent results in well erected buildings over a period from 1964 to 2013.  The buildings, built and owned by the society have a complete infrastructure housing all amenities required to run a top class educational institution.

Persons to be remembered for their noted services :

1. Established the Stracey Memorial  Education Society.

4. Educated other, the value of punctuality and discipline

2.         Mr. Mariraj, Rtd. DPI, Govt. of Karnataka   

1. Helped the founder to get permission and recognition from Govt. of Karnataka.
2. Educated the staff in handling of  children and improvement of academic excellence.
3. Administrator – by discussion made   others to understand “human is better than rules and procedures”.
4. Developed the infrastructure
5. Instrumental in developing discipline and standards.
6. Educated others the value of Punctuality and discipline.

3.         Mr. A R Ramanand                              

1. Helped the establishing the basic infrastructures by guiding the Management.

4.        Mr. A R Sadanand       

1. Joined as a member and then served as Treasurer and incharge Secretary
2. Played an important roll in the development of administrative block [4th stage and also 3rd stage building] along with Architect Mr. P R Vishwanath.
3. Educated others fast work, systematic help in saving of revenue and time.     

5.        Mr. B M Venkataramaian  

1. Worked as Principal from 1980 to 1997 after his retirement from Kendriya Vidhya.  A good Administrator, Academician, in total a guide for others. 
2. He Played an important role in developing the infrastructure of the institution.  Later has become the Vice – president of the Society.

The institution has received the support of many other eminent persons, who in turn contributed directly or indirectly of the growth of the institution.
To-day the Stracey Memorial Education Society owns the following institutions.

1. Stracey Memorial Nursery School
2. Stracey Memorial Primary School
3. Stracey Memorial High School
4. Stracey Memorial Comp. P U College

The institutions are a landmark in the area in State pattern, Good standard and discipline, though the open admission is given to all eligible student.  The parents of the institutions are happy always with moderate fees and progress of students.
The Primary school produces better result (almost cent percent) in all the classes.  We maintain 90+% result in the 10th Standard usually and 70+% results in PUC.

FUTURE PLANS :
The Education Society had bought 7 acres of land at Sakalavara village off Bannergatta Road to provide all the modern facilities including vast area for sports and other activities as in the present premises, there is no scope for expansion. Further developoment will be undertaken after the required funds are accumulated. We jare also trying for C.A. site through B.D.A strength.
